2012 Christmas Gift Packs

This year we’ve got 3 great Christmas gift packs available online, giving you greater choice and flexibility with three different price points!

The camisole twin pack comes with 2 of our classic basic camis for $49.90, with your choice of two colours – pink, grey, black or white. The camisoles are made from 93% bamboo viscose and 7% spandex to keep them in shape. The light-weight, breathable fabric is perfect for this time of year.

Our most popular gift pack is the active wear pack for $64.90, comprising of a wide strap bamboo tank top and ¾ leggings. The tanks are available in either black or white and make the perfect gift for the sporty type, or layer them under tees and skirts.

The third option is our value pack, for all season layering! Comprising of a camisole, full length leggings and our most popular top, the ¾ sleeve scoop neck tee, this pack is great value at $89.90 (total value $109.85). The tops are both made from our lightweight bamboo/spandex mix and the leggings have a little organic cotton added to the mix to ensure they are opaque.

All the gift packs come in our O2wear satchel with a gift tag, and messages can be added at the checkout. Free shipping is offered to all Australian addresses and express shipping is available for a small charge of $5. International shipping is also available.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas!!

Fullarton Markets

Last Saturday we had an O2wear stall at the local Fullarton Markets. They are a monthly event, held on the fourth Satuday of each month at Fullarton Park (corner Fullarton Rd and Fisher St, SA).

It was our first ever O2wear stall and in fact, my first time at the markets (since we've only just returned to SA) but it was a really fun morning. Despite fairly gloomy weather, it didn't rain and there was quite a good turn out. I recruited my Mum and our family dog Emmie to help at the stall (Emmie was supposed to look cute and attract customers but she was far more interested in chasing after other dogs!). We had quite a bit of interest from the market goers and will definitely be at the next one, 22nd September.

The markets are an interesting mix of fresh produce, plants, food & snacks, clothing & accessories etc set amongst the tall gums surrounding the carpark where it is held. If you are in Adelaide its worth checking out.

O2wear turns one!

Its been a busy month at O2wear HQ! We've just celebrated our first birthday. It was a little hard to determine when exactly we reached this milestone but I decided it should be my first non family/friend sale, which was just over a year ago now!

A lot has changed since then, the website has had a few updates and reviews and in June the latest range of O2wear basics were launched. The 3/4 sleeve scoop top and long sleeve top have definitely been very popular this winter.

A few shots from the new range launched this year

In other news, O2wear (and me) have a new home! My husband and I have just relocated back to Adelaide where we are both originally from. We had a great time in Perth WA and have a small but loyal following over there which I hope follow us here! It's business as usual though, just from SA. I'm also pleased we'll be able to deliver to the east coast much faster as Australia Post delivery times are significantly better from Adelaide.

Looking forward to an even bigger and better second year!

Made on the Left - WA markets

Today I went along to the Made on the Left markets in Perth. Held in the State Theatre Centre in the CBD, it was a great location full of independent designers from WA.

Made on the Left is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2008 by independent designers to support Western Australian creative talent. The markets showcase products by local designers and are full of cute, irresistible bits and pieces! While O2wear didn't attend as we don't hand make our pieces, I love a good market and supporting local talent :)

I took a few photos so you can check it out below. Be sure to go along to their next event!

Photo shoot for the new bamboo basics range

Last Saturday we finally got to shot the new range of O2wear bamboo basics, things always take a little longer than expected! I was very fortunate to work once again with Matt, Brooke and Janelle who did such an amazing job last time.

The new collection adds to our current range of bamboo body wear basics. In addition to the full-length footless leggings and camisole singlets, we’ve added tanks, tees, ¾ sleeve and full-length tops, plus ¾ leggings. The colours have been kept simple – black and white in a fitted style so they can be layered and provide a bit of extra insulation during these cooler months.

The tops are made from the same light-weight mix of bamboo viscose and spandex used in our camisoles, while the ¾ leggings are a cropped version of the full-length leggings in bamboo, organic cotton and spandex. I hope to have them online and available early next week!

Here are a couple behind-the-scenes shots from last Saturday and a sneak-peak at the tank top and ¾ sleeve tee and leggings.
