Customer Feedback Survey - $10 off

O2wear is 3! I missed it this year because it’s been a crazy few months. Facebook keeps politely reminding me that I haven’t posted in a while, but between the winter months which are some of our busiest and my daughter who was born in May, life has been hectic!

And now it is time to start planning for next winter! Last week we sent out a customer satisfaction survey asking for your feedback. As an online store we don’t get many opportunities to hear directly from our customers but feedback about what we are getting right, where we could do better and what you’d like to see next in the range is so important. We really appreciate everyone who has already taken the time to complete it. If you are interested in taking part, it is completely anonymous and will only take 2-3 minutes. You’ll receive a $10 off coupon code for your troubles! (Valid until end of September)

Thank You!

O2wear Interview

Last week Vanessa from Beauty and Lace, a lifestyle, fashion, eco blogger (and O2wear fan!) got in touch with me to do a little interview on O2wear, bamboo fibre and to find out how it all started.

Below is an excerpt from the interview, or you can read it in full here if you'd like to learn a little bit more about me and O2wear. You can also check out the Beauty and Lace blog here for all sorts of great fashion, beauty and entertainment news as well as interviews and the latest product reviews!

An excerpt is below or read the full interview here:

What is the best seller and favourite colour? (Pink is our first pick)
Best sellers vary from month to month with the seasons, but come winter, without a doubt it’s the long sleeve scoop in black and full length leggings.
What type of person do you see wearing your designs?
O2wear is designed for women of any age and lifestyle. They are great layering pieces for the office, the camis and tanks can be layered under work wear for those overly air-conditioned work places. A long sleeve top and leggings can also be used to transform a summer dress into winter wear. Equally though, they are soft and comfy for lounging around the house on the weekend. I also have a number of customers that wear them for yoga and even as sleep wear!
What has been your proudest moment so far?
I think it’s the little things, like repeat customers. Just the other day I had an order from a new customer for a long sleeve top, and 2 weeks later she came back to order another four. That always makes me smile!

New Crew Neck Long Sleeve Top

In response to the huge demand for the bamboo long sleeve scoop neck top, we have recently added a long sleeve crew neck to the range.

Some time ago I conducted a little facebook poll to see if people were keen on a crew neck style and the resounding response was a yes! So it's been modelled on the scoop neck long sleeve but it just has a higher neck line.

Bamboo Crew Neck Long Sleeve Top

The crew neck long sleeve is made from the same bamboo fibre spandex mix as the rest of the range and is priced the similarly - $39.95 with free Australian delivery.

If you are looking for something that can be worn under other v-neck or scoop neck tops or just something that provides a little more warmth/coverage than the scoop neck, the crew neck is just what you you need!

New Sizing: S-XL leggings

We finally have our small size leggings back in stock and are very excited to announce we have also introduced size XL in our leggings range.

Several months ago we conducted a little facebook poll to see if any changes were needed to the cut or style of our leggings but the resounding response was a no! You seem to like them just as they are, so we’ve restocked our small leggings and introduced XL sizing (Australian 16). The feedback indicated that you’d really like to see some larger sizing available so we’ve introduced the XL in our full-length leggings and the black ¾ sleeve top with a view to rolling it out across the whole range if it proves popular!

Happy shopping :)

It's spring! A sunny 27C day is the perfect way to start it too.

We've had a very busy couple of months, working on our new range as well as giving the website a bit of an overhaul. In August we also celebrated our second birthday and received our third delivery of stock!

The new collection expanded upon the current selection, adding a white option to the t-shirt and long sleeve tops, completing the range with black and white offerings in all our styles. I also decided to trial a new colour. After much debate and a bit of a naming dilemma, I settled on olive grey. I think this most accurately reflects the colour. In the images the top looks mostly charcoal grey, however there are hints of olive in certain light.

Below are a few images from the new range in olive grey and white:

Both the 3/4 sleeve top and t-shirt are now available in black, white and olive grey.
The long sleeve top, which was one of our biggest sellers during winter is now available in white as well. We have also introduced a long sleeve twin pack for $69.95 ($10 saving) available in any combination of black and white.

Winter Inspiration - How to wear leggings

I've been a little slack on the blog front but that's because things have been a little hectic, like planning and preparing for the imminent arrival of new O2wear stock! These cooler months have also been keeping us busy at O2 HQ with our bamboo long sleeve top and leggings being clear favourites this winter.

So if you are after a little winter inspiration, pinterest comes to the rescue with lots of great examples of how to wear leggings.

Apart from keeping your legs toasty warm during winter, leggings give you a lot of flexibility when it comes to creating outfits – pair them with a skirt, dress or chunky knit for a range of different looks.  You can also get more out of your summer wardrobe by investing in a pair of leggings and transforming a summer dress into a winter outfit by layering it with leggings, boots and scarves [yes that's right, save money by buying leggings :)]

Boot cuffs or leg warmers make a cute addition to add a little colour to black pair of tights/leggings as well!

New O2wear retailers

We've had a busy start to 2013, relocating the office and signing up with several new online stores.

The latest of which is Hard to Find, a great spot to find those, you guessed it, hard to find pieces. There's a great mix of products in their store, from homewares to fashion and stationery.

I'm a sucker for homewares and they have heaps of cute stuff, like these log bowls from reclaimed wood. Best of all, free shipping on nearly all items!

Ettitude is another of the stores we have recently joined and here you can find all sorts of organic and bamboo made products. Whether its towels, sheets or socks you are after, they have a huge range of bamboo products, including our O2wear bamboo clothing.

American customers can now buy O2wear in US dollars from USA online store Greenstreamline. A couple of months back we joined this store devoted to all things green and eco-concious. You can read the lovely review of our O2wear bamboo 3/4 sleeve top here by site owner Katie!
